Digital Transfer
We used to transfer a wide range of analogue film formats to DVD, CD or key.It was the digitalization and duplication of all media, the extraction of digital media from any medium: SD card or even very old ones like floppy disk and Iomega disk.

We still carry out video editing projects of events to correct colour and exposure, do compilations, summaries, reduction edits or photo slideshows. We still transcribe video into text for English translation and subtitling.
Super 8 and Single 8 transfer
We transferred 8mm reels to DVD, QuickTime or AVI format using one of our two telecinemas, removing the joins between film reels in post-editing.
For people who had forgotten the contents of their reels, we transferred the raw footage to DVD for evaluation. We then edited the video and produced another copy of the DVD. By default, we left recordings without sound, but might have edited in a voice or music.
Post Transfer Editing
The first type of digital audio editing is simple cutting and cleaning. We can also edit a digital audio soundtrack associated with a video track.
We might have added music to the video over several tracks or themes, most often for video tracks from mute Super 8 reels. We might have added voice commentary, based on customer comments, to create an unforgettable family archive
Colour correction
Colour correction of images depends on the level of quality sought. Very good results are possible frame by frame or per batch.
However, in batch processing, the best case is to have batches that are similar in colour profile.
When scanning slides and negatives, we applied the most suitable correction depending on the project. We applied colour correction filters to video for contrast, brightness to improve colour depth if the colours in recordings were bland.
This was not always necessary, but some films deserved in-depth colour correction. Super 8 films age differently over time and can lose their original look, sometimes turning purple monochrome. For monochrome mauve, we tend to convert everything into black and white.
Transfer of video cassettes
Old hardware is increasingly difficult to find in good condition. We transferred souvenir cassettes to digital format for families to share with loved ones and future generations. We transferred all formats of video cassettes, including DV, HDV, VHS, VHS-C, S-VHD, Hi-8, both to DVD and digital video files.
Transfer of audio tapes and cassettes
We digitized audio cassettes and tapes, magnetic audio reels and vinyl disks onto audio CDs, MP3 or WAV format files on USB stick or hard drive.
Customers were often delighted to be able to listen to old vinyl records, or favourite eighties' audio cassette on CD, on a phone or as an MP3.
Slide Scanning
We scanned slides, paper photos and negatives onto CDs, DVDs, USB sticks, hard drives or send them to customers using WeTransfer. Scanning slides allowed customers to rediscover past events, photos taken in the 80s or 90s before digital devices were widely available, share them with friends and family.
We used a volume scanner loaded with one hundred slides, enabling us to scan at high resolution. We cleaned, loaded, and unloaded the slides, making sure images were straight, corrected the scan colour of slides.
Digitizing negatives
We digitized digital negatives on CD, DVD, USB key, hard drive or send them by WeTransfer. Digital scanning photos allowed people to relive past events and share them with friends and family.
Scanning paper photos and documents
We scanned paper photos digitally. Once scanned, photos can be adjusted to improve or restore their colour before including in family photo libraries. You can also create a printed album or animated slideshow of photos set to music. Once digital of course; it is possible to mix scanned photos, glass plates images, with slides, negatives and recent digital photos.
You may want to save not only photos, but important documents to keep and store them in a cloud service such as Evernote. You may simply need to have documents backed up on your computer for safety reasons, fire, or simply for ease of consultation.

We rephotographed glass plates and corrected contrast an exposure before delivery to customers.
DVD Duplication
We duplicated DVDs for schools, theatre companies, that had filmed events to distribute to the public. We duplicated DVDs for public bodies that needed to distribute documents. This included dust jacket, case or printed booklet.
Photo reconstruction
It is possible to reconstruct a severely damaged photo. The example below seems to have received ink splashes in several places. We managed to remove these defects, making the photo black and white and by rebuilding pixels outright, especially for the face of the man.
We are not graphic designers or artists, but we know how to use the relevant tools. For any advanced artistic work, it is always advisable to employ a specialist.
Printed photo albums
Some customers converted their photos into printed photo albums. What better way to relive your photos than to offer them as a birthday or Christmas present? We scanned at resolutions which allowed customers to print scanned images up to an A3 poster.
Digital Video Services
Digital video services are not limited to data manipulation, although many skills are similar. Technical video editing requires excellent management of data tables to ensure that the right piece of video is in the right place.
We recovered corrupted hard disks and optical disks using the required connectors, the software to recover damaged hard drives, and hardware to resurface optical disks.
We offered digital media file conversion of digital audio and video sources into other file formats. We uploaded video to YouTube for some customers.
Some projects aimed to arrange a very mixed set of videos chronologically. Digital video services can be developed into other activities such as digital streaming or even other media/multimedia activities.

Data Management Services
Data is of course inherent to any computer system, whether it's managing installation files and disks, drivers, backing up databases, converting archives across generations of software, or managing a data warehouse.
We recovered deleted files and other data, backups, duplicated hard drives orbacked up data to disk or cloud systems.
